Motichoor Ladoos and the smell of fresh Genda…Intoxicating !

Motichoor Ladoos and the smell of fresh Genda…Intoxicating !

So finally, after all the coaxing from friends, family, and clients, I START WRITING !
I am not the best at this but yes I have stories to share…..

2 years down the line, The Wedding Planning Company is marching ahead happily at its own pace and there is lots to tell…but before I even begin I have to thank all my brides and clients for believing in us and giving us the opportunity to plan the most special day in their lives and all those agencies who have acknowledged our work and written about us.

Aparna aka TT made the perfect Bride Chilla !

Its a long list…can’t do without thanking the men who make this possible…..THE REAL DREAM MAKERS: The flower guys, my prop boys, the tailor, the painter the carpenter and all those whose lives I make terribly miserable while at work (Special Mention: Some friends & Mom ;-)). The last two years have rather been good! From Corbett – Agra – New Delhi – Karnal – a few more here and there….I feel I got wheels under my heels! But that’s the fun part of our profession …isn’t it?

Behind the scenes: The Real Dream Makers

So with that said, I know you are eagerly awaiting an end to this rather a thanksgiving intro, but remember as this piece ends, our association begins – and lots of stories follow, love stories that can be turned into Bollywood scripts! Last minute wedding crises and how we survived…some aunties who made it a little difficult and many more who gave us hilarious moments that we cherish, Mamaji’s Govinda dance steps and Buaji’s thumkas, the smell of motichoor ladoos and fresh genda… and endless cups of tea through the cold nights… stay tuned, Shaadi season is almost here!!
